Sport – Athletics – 100m, 200m, 400m & Relays
Phil Healy, known as the “Bandon Bullet,” is one of the most versatile and accomplished sprinters in Irish athletics history. A two-time Olympic relay finalist and European silver medallist, Phil is renowned for her speed across 100m, 200m, and 400m, holding the distinction of being the second fastest Irish woman ever over both 100m and 200m.
Her athletic journey has been marked by extraordinary highs and remarkable resilience. Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, Phil has overcome significant health challenges to return to peak form and lead Ireland’s sprint teams onto the world stage.
A 17-time national champion, she has represented Ireland at multiple World Championships, European Championships, and two Olympic Games, making finals in both the Mixed 4x400m relay at Tokyo 2020 and the Women’s 4x400m relay at Paris 2024.
Away from the track, Phil holds a Master’s degree in Enterprise Computer Software, positioning her as a strong advocate for women in tech and sport. She is also a committed voice in conversations around resilience, mental health, and performance mindset—both online and through brand collaborations.
