Detailed Bio

The 29-year-old Dubliner from Malahide was part of the four times Ladies Football All-Ireland Senior Champions Team; 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and was an all-star in 2017.

An advocate for positive mental health and self-acceptance, Nicole first publicly opened-up about her experience with depression in an RTÉ documentary Blue Sisters which charted Dublin’s path to All-Ireland success in 2017. Since then, she has shared her story in the hope that it can help others who have struggled with their mental health and to accept their sexuality.

Nicole’s teenage years were a constant struggle as she hid her sexuality. Silence was not the answer. The cure she found was simple, just say who you are. Frightening at first but liberating afterwards.

In 2020 she had to battle back from injury. With a degree, Sociology and Spanish in Trinity College Nicole currently works with a social media intelligence agency Storyful.
